Relaxing break for the family! Clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect for kids who like the water!

Extremely clean facilities! Large and comfortable rooms. So impressed that there was no sand in the floors despite the hotel being so close to the beach. Friendly and welcoming staff Large pools, fun waterslides. Nice water play area for younger kids. Delicious drinks at the pool bars. Walking distances to supermarkets and pharmacies. We ate our meals at Baan Sailom next door to the resort and the Sandwich Box opposite the resort. Good breakfast spread, staff replaced food diligently

Crowded breakfast room. Many tourists were discourteous in the large amounts of food they took and not waiting their turns. Lunch and dinner not that great. We preferred to eat outside the resort. We realised upon arrival that if we booked different types of rooms, they would likely be on different floors even if within the same building. The resort is huge so this can be a problem for families with small children.

Excellent pool and outdoor grounds - pool bar was a highlight. Seems like you are in a garden oasis.

Overpriced for the facilities provided.

Location was great. Pool was always clean. Cleaning staff were amazing and helpful. Gym on-site- simple but effective.

Resort rooms are dilapidated, dark, dank, and mosquito's carry you away if you leave the doors open. Toilet leaked sink leaked. Shower temperature was unpredictable with no pressure. Aircon died 3 times and required engineers to fix it. TV also died on second last day. The photos on the internet are not indicative of the accommodation standard. There are 2 large slides - novelty wears off pretty quickly. There is literally nothing to do on-site except lie around the pool - if you can grab a lounger.

Love it; but please allow for longer swimming hours especially due to hot weather.

Great buffet breakfast; great mojitos at hotel streetcar and less expensive than inside. Affordable Thai Massages- a must have. Though I will not recommend dining inside the resort. We enjoyed ourselve mmensely, especially our 9yr old. We did move rooms to have access to a private swimming pool but only for R450 p/day.. Close to shops and restaurants and totally loved the Karon area.

A bit of communication hiccups but nothing major.

The pools were good for the kids, location was good.

The resort was comfortable, it needed some maintenance done to it. Staff didn’t seem to want to be there. I think we got maybe 5 hello’s in the week that we stayed there. We didn’t eat at the restaurant at the hotel as it’s all very over priced.

Pleasant stay

Great spot for kids in a quiet area yet enough around - shopping, street food, street bars and cheap restaurants. Nice beach within 2min walk. Great pools. Plenty of variety for breakfast which changes a little bit each day.

It's a big hotel so you're not really treated with the famous Thai hospitality... you're simply a number in the masses.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t commend the staff highly enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

Pool area including waterslide was good as well as access to the pool bar. Breakfast was excellent each morning with various seating areas inside and outside near the pool. Location was convenient to access cafes, bars and the beach. Extremely friendly Staff who were personable. A big shout out to an employee called Boon who manned the pool bar. He maintained a positive vibe through engaging in conversation, even with language barriers.

Bed was a little firmer than we were used to, however the rooms were maintained daily. We booked adjoining rooms to accommodate family. T Only 1 TV in the kids room had reception. Minor issues only..

It was a bit old.. smell in the room was not good but they were willing to change.. but offered not such a nice location for alternate room so we’ve stayed in the smelly one... Poor breakfast...

The resort needs refurbishing and the staff need retraining. It was pleasant.

Overall a very comfortable and friendly hotel to stay in.

The facilities were very good including a large pool and waterslides for the kids. Really close to the beach and shops.

The hotel was older than others, but my understanding is that a refurbishment is about to commence. The breakfast buffet had too much choice which did not appeal to a western diet - maybe less choice but with better quality options (including bacon) :)

Enjoyed the time we spent there with family. Kids loved the pool and slide areas.

Breakfast was very good. A great selection of foods to chose from. Rooms were cleaned every day. Fresh towels Everyday. Great location, close to beach, places to eat, small amount of shops and market stalls across the road. Easy walk to either Karon in one direction or Kata in the other direction.

Would have liked a mug for my morning cuppa instead of a small cup. 2 room keys would have been helpful, instead of having to find staff to come and open the door. A towel rail in the bathroom would have come in handy..

water slides and room size, friendly personal

Breakfast, the pool smell, no security at all, no water tap to wash sand off the feet after the see, TV did not work in a room , it took us 2 days to fix the problem, toilet had an old flushing system and was hard to flush.

Very happy with our stay!

This is a good resort for a family with young teens. The rooms and grounds are clean and attractive. The kids really enjoyed the pool, particularly the slides. The staff was very nice and responsive. The hotel is a five minute walk from Karon Beach, which is very clean by Thai standards. And it is a 20-min walk to Kata beach. Rooms: The adult beds and linens could have been a bit better, but they were okay. The kids beds were significantly worse, but the kids managed. Food: Breakfast was plentiful and varied, but could have been a bit higher quality. The fruit was good but not great, likewise for the yogurt. Either the oil or the potatoes used to make the grilled potatoes was reliably off. Every day they had either pancakes or French toast as well as cereal and a variety of eggs, omelettes, hard boiled, sunny side, and over medium. Often they had croissants and some muffin-like pastries. In addition, there was an Asian aisle of breakfast food, but we did not try any of that. The resort is mostly (95%) attended by Russians.

The buffet dinner is to be avoided at all costs. I'm not sure we've ever paid so much for such poor food. (Apparently the buffet dinner is included in the price of the hotel for some guests.) It would be nice to have access to drinking water (water fountain or such) throughout the day, so that we can refill our water bottles -we hate to buy single-use plastic water bottles (event the 3 gal ones) from the local 7Eleven store. There is water served/available at breakfast, but it's done by the end of the breakfast hours (6am-10am). The room smelled somewhat bad initially. We eventually concluded that the problem was the air conditioner. We complained to the front desk and they worked on the air conditioner the same day and fixed the problem. Otherwise the room was good.
